The formation of the Conference program entitled “Exchange of Experience in the Field of Forecasting and Eliminating Man-Made Disasters” is being finalized.
Within the framework of the VIII International Forum on Industrial Safety, which is being held from the 25th through the 26th of May in the concert exhibition hall “Smolny Sobor” in Saint Petersburg, will take place a conference entitled “Exchange of Experience in the Field of Forecasting and Eliminating Man-Made Disasters.”In the course of seven sessions, 43 presentations are planned. Twenty-five minutes are allocated for each presentation, of which five minutes are for audience questions. Parallel sessions will take place in two lecture halls.
On the fourth day of the Forum, participants will have the opportunity to visit their choice of either the famous Amber Room of the Catherine Palace, or the Pravoberezhnaya (Right-bank) Central Heating Power Plant 5 or CHPP-5, a facility of the leading producer and supplier of electrical and thermal energy in the Northwest region of Russia (TGK-1 company -- Territorial Generating Company 1) with the goal of familiarization with its system of industrial and fire safety.
